  1. Does it need installation or configuration?
  2. Is this using any 3rd party API? If no, what package it is using for compression? Do I need to add that package on my server?
  
  3. Can I just put the source code on sub-directory (subfolder) and it will work?

  1. The installation is very easy and automatic. You just need to run the provided install.php file.
  2. No third-party API is used for compression; the script relies on the GD Library and ImageMagick library. These libraries are typically pre-installed on most servers.
  3. The script only works under public_html. If you don't have a primary domain, you can install it on a subdomain. Subdirectories are not supported.

  If you want to compress videos without using FFMPEG, you can use a Python script that leverages other libraries like moviepy and scikit-video. You can develop a API for this.

  As the Video compression uses a lot of CPU power, making it hard for individual developers to handle without strong servers. This is why it's difficult to run scripts for tasks like removing image backgrounds or compressing videos.

  I am excited to let you know that BlazTools is alive and will never die like other scripts you purchase and never get updates for. I release new updates every 1 to 2 months, and as soon as one update is done, I start working on the next one. I have always dreamed of launching my own tool, so this script will always be active and evolving.
  
  In the next release, I'm redeveloping the entire application to feature clean code, a simple structure, and easy modifications. It will be straightforward to add new pages, manage layouts, and compress images using Ajax instead of browser form submission. Additionally, I'm migrating the website from JSON to MySQL, making it easier for you to create and install add-ons. The project is 80% complete.
  
  I will also release new add-ons in bundle.
