  I just wanted to find out what exactly you mean by web-based backend. Does it mean that I can publish the app in google play, and then change the content of the app through the backend without republishing it?

  So does this app have a “save content for offline viewing” functionality which allows users to download content into the device memory and later view it inside the app if they no longer have access to the internet? Just like the YouTube download for offline viewing functionality.
  
  Is the app configured to strictly use the php web based backend that you provide with it or can it be configured to consume data from a custom web API built in something like NodeJs... which provides data in json format?

  ---> Our backend is written by PHP and it communicate with app via API with Json format.
