Requirements
Apache Server (XAMPP/WAMPP), PHP, MySql, Composer, node.js
Laravel Valet OR Homestead Instead of XAMPP will also work
Instructions
Installation Guide: (UI Installer):
• Extract the application.zip in your targeted path
• Visit the url {project_url}/install for the initial installation of the project
• Click on check requirements
• Fulfill all the requirements of the project and click on check permissions
• Grant all the permissions required and click on configure environment
• If you are familiar with laravel framework you can also choose to edit directly through classic text edit otherwise you can choose form wizard setup
• After configuring the environment variables click on setup database to setup database details
• After setting up the application you can finish you setup and visit the original project url and thats it.
Installation Guide (Manual):
- Change the database configurations in the .env file.
- Create a database in your local server and import the provided .sql file (located in the project folder) into the database.
Running the application using a valid URL. The URL will vary depending on whether you are using XAMPP or Laravel Valet.
- Install XAMPP on your local machine.
- Open the project folder and locate the .env file.
- Update the database configurations in the .env file with your local server settings.
- Create a new database in your local server.
- Import the provided .sql file into the newly created database.
- Launch XAMPP and start the Apache and MySQL services.
Open a web browser and navigate to the project using the following URL: http://localhost/project-folder/public.
- Install Laravel Valet on your local machine.
- Open the project folder and locate the .env file.
- Update the database configurations in the .env file with your local server settings.
- Create a new database in your local server.
- Import the provided .sql file into the newly created database.
- Open the terminal and navigate to the project folder.
- Run the command "valet link" to create a secure URL for the project.
Open a web browser and navigate to the project using the secure URL generated by Valet.
