Blog Lite is a PHP web script allowing you to quickly create simple blog sites or to add blog functionality to an existing website.

Unlike other blog scripts, it doesn't use any relational database like MySQL or similar, but stores instead the data in local XML files-this makes it fast to run (and not creating any MySQL server load) and also really easy to install since to install it, it's only necessary to copy or upload its files to your website or preferred folder.
The front-end is also using templates making it easier to customize the blog design and layout according to your preferences or project requirements or also to integrate it in existing sites.
Blog Lite comes also with a responsive and user-friendly administration panel allowing to manage easily the different website configuration settings, make new blog posts or edit the existing ones and customize the blog look and feel and design. We added functionality in it to allowing to customize the site colors, the logo, header background etc. in order to make it easier to adapt it to your brand's identity and also it's using a flexible template system, so you can create and add your own templates and designs in it. 

It requires PHP to run and mod_rewrite if you activate the SEO URLs functionality from the administration panel.
