Please Provide API to protect our Scripts

We are surely looking into this, but there are a few issues.
We sell open source products only, We don't support encrypted code and we have not found a method that would give good enough protection.

I'm not trying to be sarcastic here: forget about them. Here's my reasons :

1) You can spend tons of time trying to prevent pirates from pirating your stuff, or you can spend the same amount of time giving your paying users more functionality.
2) Extreme copy protection does not give your paying users anything but more hoops to jump through to use your application - which might lead them to get frustrated.
3) Pirates will pirate your applications no matter how much time you spend trying to stop them.
4) Budget a certain amount of time to put in basic copy protection - just enough to keep the honest people honest.
5) Most importantly: Don't irritate your paying customers. They are the ones you need to make happy.

Frederick you mention most time time that we sell open source product like php.

Do you know how much of time it consume and how much we spend in data subscription or pluging purchase to develop such item.

Afterward someone will bye it once and upload it on it site as nulled where people will get the item we say we are selling here for free anytime any day.

A create loss for developers.

That why many base on Envator because their item are protected using purchase codes.

Currently purchase codes are being presented as the solution against piracy of scripts. This is unfortunately not true.
The only option would be to fully encrypt scripts, which destroys the whole idea of open source scripts and even so, people are quite easily able to remove piracy checks.

I am not aware of any good protection on Envato or any other marketplace (otherwise we would certainly have offered that protection by now). And people are not going to Envato because their products are safe . The truth is that near every popular script on Envato has been nulled.

Encrypting scripts and having to activate scripts gives paying customers a negative user experience. People expect scripts to have an open source and expect to be able to use the scripts directly after purchase. We have seen 50% refund rates on encrypted items with activation requirements. People even ordering cashbacks through Paypal and credit card. That is why we are very cautious with the customer experience as this gives authors other things to fear.

Getting your software nulled is a horrible experience and it's something we hope to find a solution for (and yes we are still looking!).
For now only good solution is to offer good support and updates. This is the only proven way that allows you to convert pirating customers into paying customers.

Any estimation when the API will be ready to check if a support request comes from a buyer with a valid licence (verify the email address or the username)? Otherwise we also provide good support to people who stole the software.

@chattymango very funny I do not give support via email I rather reply that please use the support section where he purchase the product.

I need this API to give support to my Buyers on my own Support Website where user Add Purchase code and We will Live chat with them

I need this because all conversations are public on default Codester Support Section I don't want conversation as public

We will be adding a license check tool for authors to check if the user should receive support.

Hopefully waiting... Let take Codester to the next level.
