Updates after plugin has been set to paused?

Can buyers on Codester still request updates of an item that has been set to "paused"? Or is there a time after which this entitlement expires, for example after it has been paused for x days or months?

What do you exactly mean with can request updates?
People who have purchased before the item was paused can still download the latest updated files.

chattymango May 1, 2020I mean that they request updates AFTER the item has been paused. It may be developed further elsewhere - since it's not forbidden to offer it also at other places. So the latest version somewhere else might be higher than that version in the files of the paused item.

You can of course offer elsewhere and don't update on Codester. But why not keep it paused and also update the files on Codester?
I can imagine that customers will complain if money for your product and they find out the updates are only available elsewhere and not accessible for them.
